When I think of me, I think excited
I think shy, but ready to explode,
Considerate to strangers, sarcastic to friends,
Me, the lover of many,
Opinion-less me, happy me
Air plane rider and people watcher,
Unusual me, hopping on the stairways
And crawling on the floor,
Crazy me, willing to do, ready to go,
Fish eater, but not the fish catcher,
Sitting alone, keeping to myself,
Quiet me, wary of the unknown,
Running my heart out,
Determined me, going to win that medal,
Laugher and writer, carer of friends,
Player with instruments and kids alike,
Attempted comforter, failed cheerer,
Self-conscious me, whats' that
Refliction look like in the mirror,
Ruiner of words, spilling from
My lips in tumbles of nonsense,
Un-noticed me, behind the scenes,
Don't mind me over here,
Unfathomable me, confuser of
Friends and strangers alike,
Calmer, keeper of peace,
Stopper of fights, rememberer
Of all things, records filling eternity,
Worried me, apprehender of the future
And preparer for what will come

Surreal
Spoon dripping milk over a pot of water
Each one bigger than to the one before
Spreading faster as the pot gets hotter
Getting murky as an unclosed door
Watching slowly as the pot gets fatter
Watching slowly as the pot fills up
Now here comes the over flowing water
Draining into an intrusive cup
Then there's sunshine on the spilling water
Then the water turn to liquid gold
Shimmers splashing on the heavy fodder
Beauty spreading over all that's old
Each one bigger than to the one before
Spreading faster as the pot gets hotter
Getting murky as an unclosed door
Watching slowly as the pot gets fatter
Watching slowly as the pot fills up
Now here comes the over flowing water
Draining into an intrusive cup
Then there's sunshine on the spilling water
Then the water turn to liquid gold
Shimmers splashing on the heavy fodder
Beauty spreading over all that's old
Ignored
"Sorry if we're bothering you."
"No, it's no problem." A sweet smile is given then you go back to your silence and lonely working. The bell rings. Finally, a release from this boredom. You gather your things and quickly leave. You drop some things off in your same old locker, then walk down the same old hall, and head to the same old class. Then, there's a familiar face. A smile. A wave. You start raising your hand to wave back but-
"Hi Jessica!" she says.
Well, that's not your name. You quickly put down your hand, quietly ashamed, then scurry to your next class as the warning bell rings.

It Happens Like This...
Waking up in the morning, too comfortable to get out of bed; but you do. No breakfast, just driving to school cautiously making sure your eyes stay open. Then there's crowds of people, hallways, and bells. Droaning teachers like wind blowing straight through your ears. The hard chairs, crossed legs, and elbows on the desk. More bells and then a shock of friends. There's more smiling and laughing, along with some eating of mediocre food. Too soon the bells come again, but that means it's almost over. One last time, then the crowds of people turn into crowds of cars. They all pan out till it's just you on your way to your home. You're eating food on the couch while homework goes undone. It gets late before you buckle down, but then there's no time to finish. Sleep calls to you and you eagerly leave your work, there is an awaiting bed. It's rude to make people wait. Head on the pillow, dreams come easy. Then, here comes the waking up again. It happens like this...
